Why choose POMA?
Why choose POMA?
Yes, you are not alone. It is estimated that 10‑15% of couples are affected by infertility.
The number of years our POMA team has been working together using many more years of experience to achieve positive outcomes for our patients.
And growing…the number of families that we have helped add to their family.
After many failed attempts at starting our family, we decided it was time to move on to a new clinic. After a ton of searching, we found POMA. At the time, POMA was this small, intimate clinic and it immediately felt like home. We were met with clinic staff and doctors who were kind, warm, and sensitive to what we were going through. Unlike the much larger clinic we were at before, we were Lisa and Chad, not just a patient number.
Dr. Opsahl was very clear with giving us our options and giving us realistic outcomes. We ultimately decided IVF was our best option. Everything moved very quickly, and the staff was so accommodating to our needs. Our story was just beginning thanks to POMA. We were successful in my egg retrieval, as well as embryo transfers. We welcomed our first daughter in November 2015 and then our son in January 2019, all thanks to POMA. God wasn't quite finished with our story yet though, and he blessed us with a natural pregnancy to complete our family in November 2020.
POMA Fertility was an amazing experience for my family! The level of care, professionalism, and understanding of such difficult situations is above the rest. The team is always available to listen and provide as much assistance as needed to make the journey seamless. We highly recommend the whole staff and are so grateful for the opportunity of parenthood they blessed us with. Our sweet baby girl is nothing short of a miracle and we give so much gratitude and love to the people at POMA. Thank you, all!
As an ER doctor, I was well-aware of my PCOS-induced infertility. When my husband and I were finally ready to start a family, we tried months of medication-assisted ovulation induction via my GYN that continually failed. By the time we came to POMA, we were ready to move on to IVF. We met with Megan, who was knowledgeable, pleasant, and concise. She understood our goals and got us on the schedule right away. POMA recommended appropriate but not excessive testing in line with our fertility issues, and they were flexible scheduling visits around my rigid shift times for work. My stimulation protocol was very clearly personally formulated for me by Drs. Beesley and Opsahl to maximize yield of healthy eggs while minimizing complications. 8 weeks after our first appointment I had my egg retrieval and 4 months after that we did our first frozen transfer of a PGT-A normal embryo that is due to be our daughter any week now. After thorough research on our local fertility clinics, it was ultimately POMA's success rates, personalized care, affordable prices, and expert embryology department made them the best choice for us and we truly couldn't be happier.
